The educators, coordinators, and volunteers who make this community initiative possible. Each person brings a different perspective to financial education.
The team is made up of educators, community organizers, and people with backgrounds in finance and social development who volunteer their time for this initiative.
Workshop Facilitator
Responsible for the overall design and facilitation of workshop sessions. Brings experience in adult education and community organizing to create an accessible, supportive learning environment.
Financial Education Advisor
Oversees the accuracy and relevance of the educational content. Ensures all materials reflect current programs, regulations, and practices relevant to small businesses in Veracruz.
Participant Relations
Connects with women entrepreneurs across Xalapa and the surrounding area, coordinates session logistics, and ensures the workshop remains responsive to participant needs and questions.
The team operates on a set of principles that shape every session. We believe financial education is most effective when it meets people where they are, uses their real-world context as the learning material, and avoids making anyone feel inadequate for not knowing something.
We never suggest that participants should follow a specific path, whether that means registering with the SAT, opening a particular type of bank account, or choosing any specific financial product. Our role is to inform. Decisions belong to the participant.
All team members understand that this is an educational activity, not professional consulting. We refer participants to qualified professionals when questions go beyond the educational scope of the workshop.
The initiative welcomes educators, community organizers, and people with relevant knowledge who are interested in contributing to financial education for women entrepreneurs in Veracruz.
